We are in the processing of establishing a new grant fund in Hounslow which will funding from a number of community focused pots including the 15% community element of CIL and existing community grant funds. The aim is to make grant funding more accessible, encourage and support resident / VCSE led activity / services and invest in areas of the borough which is currently receiving less grant funds.
We are in the process of creating new roles which would incorporate asset based community development with a grant administration / management function. Do any of you have similar roles within your organisations? Have you tried amalgamating what are usually two separate roles? All feedback welcome (and job descriptions if you have them).
