Hi,
Tower Hamlets is currently developing a new volunteering strategy with the aim of increasing volunteering in our borough.I'd love to connect with people that have done similar work, or have any relevant insights. As part of the strategy, we'll be exploring:
- What motivates people to volunteer
- What barriers currently exist
- New and inclusive ways to engage people
- How we can better support pathways from volunteering into employment
We're interested in what other local authorities are doing to tackle these issues and how they have worked with the VCS to pursue this.
