Hello everyone,
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is planning to revise our Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS) Compact.
I would be grateful if you, or any appropriate colleagues, could provide me with information in relation to your local authority's compact, namely:
- when it was introduced and confirmation of whether it is still in use or not
- information on any benefits that the Compact has delivered for your borough, particularly in regard to developing and improving working relationships between the Council and the VCS
- how the Compact process has been managed and overseen in your borough
- whether the Compact in your borough has included additional statutory sector partners, in addition to the Council
- does your local authority have any plans to review and/or update its Compact, in partnership with the local VCS, and, if so, what would be the process and timetable for this be.
