Review of VCS policies on Rent, Rent Subsidy and Discrectionary Rate Relief

Croydon is currently reviewing the council's Voluntary Community Sector (VCS) policies on rent, rent subsidy and discretionary rate relief.

We will like to know what other local authorities are currently doing and particulary if they do the following;

• Fund VCS infrastructure organisation and if so, what is the annual budget
• Fund Discretionary Rate Relief and is this offered to all registered charities within their borough. (It will be nice if you can share a copy of your policy)
• Fund VCS groups Rent Subsidy and if so are you willing to share a copy of your policy and application form
• How you assess and allocate funding to local VCS groups
